Deactivate a Global eSIM Profile

POST /v1/devices/profile/actions/deactivate

Allows the customer to deactivate the device. Once deactivated, this device cannot connect to the network. Bulk operation: Supported (The callback would be one for each profile). Bulk operations have a limit of 10,000 requests. eSIM profiles: Both Verizon US and Global.

Header Parameters

The request header must set the content-type to JSON, contain a current ThingSpace authorization token and a current VZ-M2M session token. For more details on how to get these tokens, visit Getting Started.

accountName (required)stringThe name of the account. This is numeric and is in the format 0000123456-00001. Leading zeros must be included.
servicePlanstringUse the Verizon ServicePlan when performing an action on the Verizon network and use the Global ServicePlan when performing action for Global.
etfWaiverbooleanThis flags a billing modification and indicates if the customer qualifies to use an Early Termination Fee waiver (true) or not (false) for this transaction.
reasonCodestringA 2-character code used to show why the account is being deactivated.

Callback Parameters

deviceIdsarrayAn array of devices being queried by the request. Each deviceId will contain: id, kind

kindstringThe the type of device ID represented by the ID value. This could be: imei, iccid, mdn or eid.

profileRolestringThis indicates if the profile is LEAD, LOCAL or FALLBACK. Lead is for Verizon (US) profiles and local is for Global profiles.
statusstringThe status of the deviceResponse. This will be SUCCESS or FAILED.
callbackCountstringThe number of responses for deviceResponse found.
maxCallbackThresholdstringThe maximum number of responses for deviceResponse allowed.
